Gwyneth Paltrow's pregnant. Hmm . . . she didn't really strike me as the "baby momma" type. Interesting.

What is a week without an Average Joe rant?
This week found Melana in a bit of a quandary as she had to choose between two tasty models, and two "average Joes." Adam (the one with the Kennedy-esque horse teeth) was miffed when she passed him over for a date with Jason (who's tres hot). He said -- to the cameras -- that she didn't care about his feelings and wouldn't choose her if she weren't the only woman to choose from. Interesting.
But the highlight of this episode was the trick she played on the remaining guys. To find out if they really liked her, or her exterior, she told them that they would be meeting one of her friends, and her cousin Danielle. "Danielle" was really Melana in a prosthetic mask and a fat suit. It was a great disguise and gave the impression that she was 180 pounds heavier than she really was.
They quetioned the guys about personal issues and then had the guys convene in the boat house where hidden cameras caught their comments -- specifically those about Danielle.
Zack -- who I've always thought was an asshole -- insisted that her fat cousin was hitting on him, and said that every girl has a "DUFF," which is a tasteful acronym for Designed Ugly Fat Friend. He said that it's important to be "in with" the DUFF, and he considered himself to be "in with" the DUFF.
This comment contributed to the elimination of Zack, which made me extremely happy.
Adam said that the cousin looked like "Fat Monica," the Friends flashback where Monica was a much heavier version of herself. This comment apparently didn't bother Melana so much because the final two consist of Jason (my fave) and Adam.
Next week, she goes home with each of them on overnight dates. I'm thinking that it might be revealed that Adam is a millionaire or something, which might sway her decision. I can't wait til Monday (to give a testament to just how exciting my life really is!) :-)

This is hilarious . . .
1) Go to google.com.
2) Type in "miserable failure" (without the quotation marks).
3) Look at the first entry...

And here I was thinking that black people had cornered the market on ridiculous baby names:
Six Feet Under star Rachel Griffiths and artist hubby Andrew Taylor celebrated the birth of their first child, son Banjo Patrick Taylor, on Nov. 22.
I shudder to think of the hellish taunting that this poor child will endure in his future. At least they had the decency to give him a normal middle name.

By the way . . . did anyone happen to see the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade and hear the marching band rendition of "Smack my Bitch Up"? (see a few posts ago when I included that blurb of how MJ's thriller was replaced by the Prodigy song). I missed it.
What do we think of Nicole Richie?

I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving!! I cooked, and you'll all be happy to know that all of the food came out great, and I had no fatalities, which is essential. Now begins the Christmas madness!!!
